NESVITA brings wellness to the malls
Mallers were recently treated to a weekend of health and wellness when NESVITA once again took to the road its advocacy of promoting a healthy lifestyle among Filipinos with its annual Adult Wellness Tour at selected malls nationwide.
The campaign is aimed at raising awareness among Filipino adults about the importance of health and total wellness. Lending her support to the campaign was fashion icon and wellness advocate Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez who shared with mallers valuable advice on achieving wellness during the tour’s Robinsons Galleria leg. She has been tapped by NESTLÉ to promote its “Choose Wellness, Choose NESTLÉ” campaign, an advocacy effort aimed at building awareness on health achieved through proper nutrition and physical activity.
“This is a great opportunity for everyone to learn about improving their health and being fit. I’m so glad to be part of it as it allows me to share things that I’ve learned through the years about achieving total wellness even with a busy lifestyle. This is what the tour is all about,” said Tweetie.
The wellness tour targets five specific areas that affect an individual’s physical and emotional state – heart health, bone health, digestive health, weight management, and everyday energy.
“NESVITA’s goal is to help people achieve wellness through proper diet and physical activity – keeping in mind that adults have their own individual health needs, thus the need for products that cater to those needs,” said Trixie Sia, consumer marketing manager for NESVITA Pro-Digestion and NESVITA Pro-Weight Management.
NESVITA selected relevant health concerns of adults through several booths that address these concerns. Mallers can check their blood pressure, know their ideal weight and get expert advice on how they could achieve it. For those who want pampering, relax with massages and makeovers also offered during the event. Finally, because a fulfilling career is an integral part in having wellness, jobseekers can drop their resumes at the career booth.
Healthcare professionals and nutritionists were on hand to conduct one-on-one counseling on the importance of proper diet, daily exercise and positive habits to achieve total wellness. NESVITA also tied up with credible institutions in the business of health and fitness that conducted wellness activities to help improve the physical, mental and emotional health of visitors, such as Fitness First, Bioessence, Nature Spa, Spa Essentials, Jobstreet.com and Professional Artists Cosmetics. NESVITA also gave away prizes to those who completed all five booths.
Visitors were also treated to the healthy goodness of NESVITA products such as NESVITA Cereal Milk Drink, NESVITA Pro-Heart, NESVITA Pro-Digestion, NESVITA Pro-Bone Protection, and NESVITA Pro-Weight Management.
For a minimum purchase of NESVITA products, visitors also got a free NESVITA Adult Wellness Card which entitles them to discounts and freebies from health and wellness establishments as well as restaurants, clothing stores, among others.
This year, the NESVITA Adult Wellness Tour will be brought to key cities to reach out to more people: Ayala Center Cebu on May 12 to 13; Robinsons Lipa on June 2 to 3; SM Baguio on June 16 to 17; Robinsons Place Manila on July 7 to 8; Robinsons Metroeast on August 4 to 5; NCCC Mall Davao on August 11 to 12; and Glorietta on September 15 to 16.
