Software calculates calories burned through exercise
We all know that regular exercise has health benefits. The Nutritional Guidelines for Filipinos developed by a Technical Working Group led by the Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (FNRI-DOST) recommends regular exercise for healthy living and good nutrition.
But it is often hard to judge how much food is just enough, or how much energy a certain food provides, and therefore how much calories have been burned during exercise especially when not using gym equipment.
Now, it is so easy to determine how much calories will be burned when engaging in any of the following activities without using special or gym equipment. Here is a table of exercise equivalents derived from the Energy Calculator or e-Calc software developed by the FNRI-DOST:

Remember to exercise regularly. Regular exercise burns off energy thereby assisting weight control or reduction. It also helps improve blood circulation, muscle tone and the efficiency of heart and lungs. It also helps one to relax, cope with stress, and promotes sound sleep. Exercise enhances psychological well-being, improves self-esteem, and maintains motivation.
