Place unused books, magazines, and notebooks in a box and seal them with the contents of the box indicated outside so that you'll know which box to open when the need arises. |
Use empty candle-holders to hold small things that always tend to get misplaced like pins, paper clips, rubber bands, etc. |
Reuse ice-cube trays as drawer organizers |
Hang a basket in an unused corner of your closet. This will provide extra storage space for socks. |
Use empty tissue rolls to store and organize wires and cables. |
Save time during the morning by picking out what to wear the night before. Designate an area of your closet to hold “tomorrow's outfit.” Be sure to fill it out from top to bottom (hats, shirts, pants, socks, shoes). |
When storing shoes in boxes, cut out a window on the side so you can see the content inside then seal it off with plastic cover to prevent it from getting dirty. This prevents the hassle of opening boxes to find the shoe you're looking for. |
Save space when storing unused bags by putting the small bag in a bigger one and so forth. |
Salvage empty shampoo containers by filling it with water and putting it in the freezer as these can be reused many times for cold compress when treating injuries and the like. |
Never forget that the wall is also an option. Look around and try to find an empty wall space. There, try installing a shelf that would hold some of your things that you want to be displayed like your diploma, pictures, vases, books, etc. |
With a little imagination and lots of creativity, organizing will be easy.
