Beef ribs fried to a crisp served with its own tasty drippings

1 kg. tadyang ng baka cut to serving portions
1/2 cup MAGGI Oyster Sauce
1 medium onion, quartered
4 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
cooking oil for deep-frying
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer for about 2 hours or until meat is tender. If using the pressure cooker, reduce cooking time to around 45 min.
2. Drain meat thoroughly in a colander and let cool.
3. Fry in very hot oil until brown.
4. Serve hot with sauce, prepared by straining drippings (liquid from cooked meat) in pan, thickened with cornstarch.
